We have a network of local groups across the UK and Ireland, all run by volunteers who are either a Reach parent or adult Reach member.
The frequency of get togethers they arrange depends on how large the member group is, and how keen you all are to meet up. All the volunteer co-ordinators are encouraged to arrange three or four meet ups each year including a Christmas party and a summer ‘picnic in the park’ and we try to find events that appeal to a wide range of ages.
Recent events have included a group visit to the zoo, Reach booking at a climbing centre, soft play or high ropes course, and Reach will make a generous contribution to keep costs down so all the family can take part. We know that it is important for siblings, friends and extended family to meet other children with similar upper limbs to your child’s, and the best way to do this is to join us!
