The Music & Drama Education Awards 2021 celebrates the extraordinary contribution made by professionals, companies, charities, schools and other organisations to the lives of others through the medium of two key performing arts, and we are super proud The Reach oRchestRa is a finalist!
This is a tremendous achievement, huge congratulations to all the very talented musicians who have taken part and performed. The Reach oRchestRa, which is a collaboration of musicians with upper limb differences or with a connection to the charity, have played together several times throughout 2020 virtually online showcasing their talents.
Here is just one example!
The two sectors which these awards celebrate – performing arts and education –have arguably faced their most challenging year ever in 2020. They have been blown away by how the people who make up the performing arts education world have continued undaunted to produce exceptional work and to support innumerable students of all ages. These awards are an opportunity for those people to be recognised.
The winners will be chosen by a prominent panel of expert judges who have the knowledge and expertise to reward the extraordinary talent, projects, organisations and products of this rich and diverse sector.
Shortlisted in the category, Excellence in SEND (Music & Drama), the awards will be premiered live at 6.00pm on the 24th March 2021 at www.musicdramaedawards.com/ and Facebook Live in a very special live event!
We will keep you all updated! Congratulations again to our musicians and a special thank you to Clare Salters who was pivotal in the organisation.
