3rd – 5th August 2018, at Ardronaig, Abernethy.
The weekend promises to be fantastic, families will be looked after from Friday night (arrive after dinner) to Sunday lunchtime (lunch included), all activities and meals are provided and the food is brilliant at this centre.
The weekend is about relaxed, fun, family time with Reach friends and some physical challenge thrown in (which are all optional). It is a great way to make new friends, meet up with old ones and take part in some fun activities. This type of Reach weekend has run for many years in Scotland and is much loved – we sincerely hope you can join us.
Families will sleep together in private bunk/dorm rooms with shared bathroom facilities.
The centre is very remote but stunningly beautiful and has 2 cosy lounges and tea, coffee, hot chocolate and squash is free and help yourself throughout the day.
The full range of activities have yet to be finalised, but a look at the website should give you a good idea of what might on offer. We will arrange groups once we know the age structure of the families attending, little ones who can’t take part can watch, play in the grounds etc. Sunday will have activities for all the family.
There is only space for approximately 14 families on a first come first served basis, so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. Reach are subsidising this event to keep your costs as low as possible, and Reach members are fundraising all year to help. We are asking for a contribution of £40 per person (under 2’s are free), with a non-refundable deposit of £40to be paid at the time of booking. We will invoice for the balance at the end of June 2018.
