- We have 19 Branches across the UK & Ireland, run by volunteers providing vital opportunities for children and parents to meet.
- We provide information and support through closed social media sites, What’s App groups, telephone, email, print and adaptation bursaries.
- Head office provide information and support through telephone, email, print and social media helpline.
- We see the potential in all children with a limb difference and celebrate their ability, never focusing on differences.
- We recognise that different families want different levels of support, and we tailor our approach to suit them. We’re here to provide resources and practical information.
- We shout about achievements whenever we can. We share success stories and hero those ‘wow’ moments, big and small, to show families just how incredible our children are.
- Branch network run by volunteers throughout the UK and Ireland provide support and an opportunity for children and parents to meet.
- ‘Within Reach’ magazine produced 3 times a year, full of information.
- Personal Accident Insurance cover for upper limbs. (Reach Member UK residents from 2 to 25yrs)
- Hire scheme for one-handed Recorders and a library of music for other instruments.
- ‘Try before you buy’ loan scheme for useful equipment, such swim paddle, an array of scissors and other gadgets.
- Bursary Grants up to the age of 25yrs.
- Annual Activity Week for Limb Difference children aged 10-17yrs.
- Family Activity Weekends across the UK for Reach Members
- Annual Family Weekend and conference where we encourage sharing experience and resources.
- Invitations to events and opportunities run by partner organisations such as Jubilee Sailing Trust, Katie’s Ski Tracks
- Member’s only Facebook group and What’s App groups where you will be able to chat safely to other members. This is a really great way to get to know other parents and share concerns and developments.
