It was Elsie’s 6th Birthday weekend at the start of January, and instead of partying she raced at the Cyclo-cross event at Peel Park, Bradford. With her handle bar adaption made by the NHS Seacroft Hospital, Leeds, who mum Emma says ‘have been fantastic’. Elsie really does show us that Reach children have no limits to what can be achieved and we are very proud that she is a member – keep it up Elsie, can’t wait to see more photos!
Cyclo-cross, a form of off-road racing featuring, mud, short, sharp off-road races, with hurdles, obstacles and intense action. It is also one of the most accessible forms of cycle sport with racing for everyone from young kids to grandmothers. Throughout the autumn and winter, it’s probably taking place in a park near you.
