Ella is a Consultant at AECOM in their Environmental Engineering team and has a passion for Social Impact.
Ella formerly our Youth Ambassador, now becoming a Trustee to help us evolve as a charity. Ella has been involved in many Reach Family Weekends from attending as a child to being interviewed and even presenting – it’s been a full circle moment for Ella and they are definitely her favourite Reach event! Additionally, Ella has been involved in the creation of several Reach social media and fundraising campaigns and helped manage the social media accounts for several years. In 2020 Ella won the Sue Stokes Memorial Award for going above and beyond by raising awareness and fundraising for Reach during the pandemic as well as supporting the Reach Team. My current roles at Reach include being involved in the Annual Family Weekend, supporting Reach’s social media, corporate sponsorships and partnerships and engaging with young adults with upper limb differences.

I’ve been a member of Reach from birth and love the community spirit of the charity. Reach has helped me truly accept my limb difference and the events and friends you make are truly the best part! For those with upper limb differences, Reach allows you to share your unique story, meet people who relate to your experiences and most importantly, celebrate your achievements and make friends for life. I live a very ‘normal’ life and happy to chat about anything!
