Reach is a national charity, founded by two mums, Maureen Brennan and Betty Southwick in 1978 lobbying the government for more help for their children.
Now we have 17 Branches across the UK and are proud to support a sister organisation in the Republic of Ireland, all run by parents and carers and people with upper limb difference. Every year they volunteer their time to organise local events big and small, from a play in a local park to family camping trips – anything and everything goes! They’re the lynch pin – keeping families in their area connected online and in person all year round.
Our Trustees and Ambassadors volunteer their time to keep members connected across the UK and Ireland, to link members with opportunities, and give voice to young people with upper limb difference.
